The Canadian Animal Assistance Team and Community Veterinary Outreach will be in Old Crow in June to run a community vet clinic in the commuity.
VGFN is looking for expressions of interest for a short-term Community Coordinator who will be available in Old Crow between June 11-15, 2025 to assist with clinic set up, clinic days, and clean up.
The Community Coordinator position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- organizing local volunteers;
- being a promotional volunteer in the period leading up to the clinic—ensuring everyone is aware we are coming;
- arranging meals for the team and for the community dinner;
- arranging transportation for the team from the airport and in the community when needed;
- supporting gathering of supplies before the clinic, including picking up shipments from airport and moving to storage;
- tracking appointments for the clinic;
- assisting with registration table and being a “runner” for tasks during the clinic;
