The Government Services Department strives to provide the best community infrastructure and housing to the citizens of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation and to the community of Old Crow within the available financial resources of VGFN.
Office Descriptions:
Director
This position is responsible for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of VGFN housing, capital buildings, and infrastructure; and supervises the Operations Officer, Gas Attendant, Fuel Delivery Driver, and Building Manager.
Operations Officer
This position is responsible for overseeing and implementing administrative procedures in the Department and supervises the Clerk and Janitors.
Government Services Clerk
This position is responsible for day-to-date office tasks including maintaining housing inventory, processing renovation and new construction invoices, and material releases.
